Please be informed that football and cheer practice this coming Monday, 9/27, will take place at George Ranch High School. Practice will begin at 6pm as we usually do. Football boys should wear their normal practice gear. Cheer girls should wear their cheer outfits.
The Packers football teams will practice on the fields that are adjacent to the high school field that we play on. In other words, the football teams will practice on the same fields that we did our pre-game warm-ups on at our first home game. It’s a large area for all of our teams to practice on. The exact area where the cheer squad will practice is being determined – and it is somewhat based on what the school’s cheerleaders are doing that evening.
The booster club has indicated that they would like to recognize the Packers at approximately 7pm, as a part of the Community Pep Rally that starts at 6:30, and although I don’t have the club’s agenda for the evening I am informed that when the Packers’ recognition takes place it should be a brief thing and not interrupt our practice for more than five minutes or so – if at all.
If more details are known in advance of the event we will provide them here. Aside from more details in advance just plan on practice as normal. The only thing that changes is the location.
